Shelter Blaho
Blaho works in Uzhhorod in western Ukraine. The organization was founded in 2014 to support education of Roma children.
After the Russian attack on Ukraine in February 2022, the organization also began providing shelter and food to refugees from eastern Ukraine.
Eighty-five people currently live in the home, usually mothers with children. (Most residents are in need of temporary housing, but some have been staying here since the beginning.) Since February 2022, more than 1,500 refugees have passed through the home.
