Orphanage Kopyliv
This home is located about 30 miles east of Kyiv. On the very first day of the war, children of this home have been evacuated to Germany. (The evacuation was organized by the staff of Father´s House.)
A Russian rocket hit the home only four days after its evacuation. It severely damaged its roof, destroyed its windows and many rooms where children had been sleeping, eating and playing only few days earlier.
Currently, the home is not usable. With the help of volunteers and donors, the staff was able to make a temporary roof repair and cover windows with plastic sheeting.
Current needs:
- Necessary construction work that will prevent further deterioration of the building in Kopyliv (before its complete repair will be done in the future)
